NSW Real Estate Licence Course

NSW licensing courses are based on national competency standards and have been approved by the Office of Fair Trading as the education requirement for the granting of a NSW Real Estate Licence.

Eligibility
To be eligible to enrol in the NSW Licensing Course - Real Estate, you must have completed, or be in the process of completing, the NSW Course in Property Practice. Alternatively, you need to have a Certificate of Registration.

To apply for a NSW Real Estate Agents Licence , the OFT requires statement of attainments from a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) stating that the applicant has successfully completed the relevant NSW Real Estate Agents Licence Course.

NSW Real Estate Licence comprises of seventeen topics

Implement and monitor financial management systems (PRDRE09A)
Manage agency risk (PRDRE10A)
Provide property appraisal (PRDRE11A)
Obtain property listings (PRDRE13A)
Market property (PRDRE14A)
Undertake property sale by private treaty (PRDRE15A)
Monitor sales process (PRDRE16A)
Lease property (PRDRE18A)
Provide property management services (PRDRE19A)
Maintain agency: client relationship (PRDRE23A)
Conduct property sale by auction (PRDRE26A)
Maintain trust account (PRDRE28A)
Contribute to the development of a workplace learning environment (BSXFMI511A)
Communicate effectively and accurately with clients* (PRDRE35A)
Work in real estate sector* (17319ANSW)
Prepare for work in the property sector* (17319BNSW)

Assessment
The NSW Licensing Course is competency based and therefore requires students to submit assessments following the completion of each unit.

Following successful completion of the NSW Licensing Course, you will be provided with documentation to satisfy the educational requirement of the NSW Real Estate Agents Licence issued by the OFT.
