NSW Course in Property Practice
Persons wishing to enter the real estate industry, who intend on performing any of the functions of a real estate agent, must hold a Certificate of Registration issued by the Office of Fair Trading (OFT).
To apply for a Certificate of Registration, the OFT requires a statement of attainment from a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) stating that the applicant has successfully completed the relevant Course in Property Practice.
Course in Property Practice comprises of three topics
- Work in the Real Estate Sector (17319ANSW)
- Prepare for Work in Property Industry (17319BNSW)
- Communicate Effectively and Accurately with Clients (PRDRE35A)
These courses can be delivered by correspondence or classroom delivery.
Assessment
The Course in Property Practice is competency based and therefore requires students to submit assessments following the completion of each unit.
Following successful completion of the Course in Property Practice, you’ll be provided with documentation to satisfy the educational requirement of the Certificate of Registration issued by the OFT.
